I just got a really good deal on a few brand new cam swap parts and need to know if the springs i got will work with the cam i have. Here is a list of the parts i just got, COMP Cams 54-414-11 specs: 1300-6300 Duration Advertised IN 269 EX 273 @.050" IN 216 EX 220 Lift IN .525 EX .532 Lobe Sep. 114 Degrees
The springs are comp cams beehive part #26915-1
The rocker arm kit is a comp cams 1.85 ratio.
Now with my limited math skills, with the 1.85 ratio rockers and this cam my gross valve lift will be .571 on the intake and .578 on the exhaust. Will the springs i have here handle that much lift? Does this sound like a good combo for a street driven car? Possibly a little nitrous in the future.
Thanks in advance for any input. Rest of mods i currently have are in my sig. Aaron
