Default A4 car 112lsa or 114lsa?

I been back and forth for awhile. The car is going to be professionally dyno tuned. Its a 99 corvette

zo6 3.42 rear
Long tubes
Borla cat back
ls6 intake
UD pulley
And all mods that go with a cam swap oil pump, chain etc etc.

Its a pure street car and only race on the highway so im keeping the stock stall converter. I want the best usable power on the street been looking at the tr224 very close along with the vengeance vrx3 and thats a 226/228 cam on a 114lsa.

What do you think i should get that would perform the best not on the 1/4 mile strip but in highway runs.

you will have to get a stall or your car will pull through a stop...

depends on how choppy you want it to idle. If you want calm get the 114. If you want bad to bone get the 112.

I have a TR224 on a 112 with a ss4000 stall. The car runs absolutely awesome, and any drivablity issues will be dealt with when you get it tuned. Go with the 112, people go crazy when they hear how dam mean my car sounds. Plus the power comes on a few hundred rpm sooner with the 112 too. Do it!

Isn't the VRX3 on a 114+4? Not saying it is, just pointing out something to check.Too lazy to look.

I want the mean sounding idle but i was scared that since i want to stay with the stock stall and a smaller cam that it was better to do the 114. I never rev my motor high so i was thinking the 112 would be better

dude, even freeway racing will benefit huge from a nice aftermarket yank or vigi converter. With any cam, big or small, you'll want those RPMs to jump way up into your powerband when you hit it...
