not bad...nice and smooth.

but honestly i would have expected more out of those heads and that cam.

any idea of the runner size on those heads? combustion chamber?

would be nice to see what a FAST did to that combo.

Yeah it should make more especialy in M6 (assuming motor is healthy)

I did expect a little more but the tuner said the cats were holding me back some. The motor has 29,000 miles well cared for miles. I know I could squeeze more out of it but Im happy with it. It just sits in the garage and Ive always wanted to do heads and cam, not really compete in LSX Nationals. Thanks for the input guys.

Don't be offended man, just stating the facts, the power you are making can be made cam only in a A4, yet a M6. You should be making at least 25>30 more rwhp and 20lbs more trq.

But hey if you are happy that is what matters.

No offense taken. It was positive feedback. What do you think is the problem? I was expecting a little more too. Are the cats that big of an issue? Should I have the TB ported? Maybe an intake? Thanks.

i doubt the cats are costing much...maybe 10hp at most.

TB could be another 5-10hp

an upgraded FAST 90/90...ported...would put you damn close to 450rwhp i bet.

i'm still curious as to the compression you ended up with, could easily make the numbers come out on the low side. remember these cars LOVE compression.

There was not a spec sheet on the heads and Jason never would reply to PMs so Im not really sure about compression. It was a stock GM gasket and TPS LS6 heads. Thanks

I'm kind of a newb, but from the dyno sheet he appears to be running really rich which would kill some power. Shouldn't the A/F be around 13.0?

Actually it looks lean. Which would definitely reduce power. Are you still running stock injectors? At that power level stockers are beyond maxed out.

DOH! Your right, it's lean, I went the other way, I hate ratios. If it's knocking, you'll lose some timing along with power, especially if you lose a piston. Perhaps you're tuner pulled timing to keep it from detonating.

Did You guys miss the AFR at 15/1+? Dangerous. That's not from maxed out injectors, that's the tune. When injectors max out the AFR starts to go up toward the end of the run, not the whole way across.

I told the tuner to make the timing safe for a 100 shot. Although I will still use a device to retard a couple of degrees for safety. He highly recommended the #32 injectors to be safe. The NX is a wet kit. The tuner also said he makes a switch for all motor and then flip it for a N2O tune. Around a $100.

This is very good info, thanks. The tuner said they were close to maxed out, which could justify the wavy at the peak. The a/f runs well above the dashed line which represents what?

The dashed line is optimal A/F. Being above it means you're lean, being below it means you're rich. I wouldn't screw with nitrous until you get your fueling squared away.
