Re: Anyone swap a TR230/224 for a G5-X2 ? When I ordered it, they were on a 110 LSA. The cam card reads like 110.1 LSA or something close to that. I'll have to dig it out to get the exact number, but it is a 110LSA and it was not special ordered.
I thought they have always been built on a 111 LSA unless you specified different when ordering. The cam card probably reads different though like 110.xx, but normally pretty close to the 111 LSA...

What happeden to all the TR230 cams on the 110LSA? Mine is on a 110, but all the recent ones seem to be a 111, what is the reason for this?

Re: Anyone swap a TR230/224 for a G5-X2 ? I know for sure that offaxis will be putting the TR236 cam in real soon followed closely by myself when my new motor is done.Jeremy[offaxis]made 421 thru a locked vertor with the TR230 and Absolute Speed kick *** heads.
I also have a G5X2 cam ,would like to do a cam shoot out.I think that they will be real close,will post results.

Re: Anyone swap a TR230/224 for a G5-X2 ? The 230 cams are advertised as being on 111 LSA. Basically they can vary a little bit. In other words when we have a cam that is supposed to be 111 LSA it might be 110.something to 111.something. This is because of the way the Cam Pro Plus measures the cams and the fact that none of them are going to be exactly 111 degrees.
We can do the 236 now, however we aren't finished testing as of yet. Anyone ordering one now will as of right now be getting a yet to be tested cam. Basically the valve events were calculated and we have test fitted it into a stock motor to check for P/V clearance and that's as far as it has gone. I hope this answers everyone's questions.

Re: Anyone swap a TR230/224 for a G5-X2 ? Thanks to Geoff I will have the TR236 in my car sometime next week. I should have dyno #`s within 2 weeks. For those of you that want that info ill keep ya posted. This will be my 3rd TR cam and I have always been extremely happy with there products and customer service plus the performance is outstanding. Id like to get my hands on one of those aftermarket intake manifolds for testing and a electric water pump. If anyone is reading this and would like there product tested just let me know. 
. My goal is to hit 440-450 RWHP in my A4 and run the 1/4 mile times to back it up.There is no doubt with the way these Absolute Speed heads flow I will reach my goal with the right combo. As usual JFM is ontop of everything. He knows what im doing way before I do . Thanks John for all the advise .
