Special fitting for rear oil galley?
I purchased a fitting locally so I could plumb in my accusump. I wanted to have it feed directly into the oil galley and the only available location was at the drivers rear. (front is not accessible due to alternator)
The issue i'm having is that the fittings head is way to large to seat down against the block. Its 1" hex head and has a crush washer on the back side of it.
its a 16x1.5 to -10 fitting.
Do you know if the earls fitting will work.
Was wondering if their hex size is smaller. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...EAR-9919FFJERL
If anyone has any other recommendations, i'd appreciate it. I'd prefer to go directly into that oil galley.
Thanks Ronald

That inlet looks different then what I'm used to seeing. Lingenfelter makes one that looks different then that. It had an inlet and outlet. There's also another way to do this with a screw in adapter over the oil filter screw where you can either run the oil filter in the stock location (which really exposes the filter) or relocating the filter, cooler and accusump with a screw on base. I think it was Canton that made those oil filter adapter types.

http://97.74.103.94/files/metric.pdf about half way down there is a 16mmx10 banjo fitting, just wondering how the oil flow would be through this fitting?
