I dont see that happenning. I have the same thing as you do. I have put on LT headers, LS6 intake, Did some exhuast work and am ready to do a spring and cam swap, and with that I doubt I will be over 400.

Someone can correct me but I believe the LS6 intake is good for 12-18 hp, LT headers are good for 10-15 at best

Heads are a good start but may only net you 25 if nothing else is done. Now a cam, intake, head swap, and headers will get you there or darn close.

I think it's plausable. Fly wheel yes, rear wheels no.

With your car being a 98 you will also need a ls6 intake manifold. If you do this swap be sure to buy the 02+ ls6 cam. The 01 ls6 motor was rated a 385. The 02 used a larger cam. But yes if you get a ls6 intake, heads, cam you will have 405.

I thought the ls6 had higher compression as well. Wouldnt that prevent him from hitting 405hp?

The LS6's increased compression ratio comes from the 243 heads having a smaller combustion chamber. 64 cc versus 67cc for the LS1
