on an other forum there was a guy claiming that he used the follwing parts to do a build on his ls1 is this a possible build and if it is is it a good idea

5.3 cast iron block
ls7 crank
6.0 lieter truck heads
ls2 pistons and rods

 

Not sure a 5.3 can be bored out that far (4").

 

LS7 crank has 4 inch stroke. LS2 rod/piston is for 3.622 stroke.

 

ls2 pistons are 4 inches, 5.3 block can only be bored to ls1 dimensions
