Default PRC Heads

Finally ready to buy heads, trying to decide between these two heads:

PRC Stage 1 LS6 Heads with double springs or PRC 2.5 5.3 Heads. What should I go with & why. Here's what I'm working with:

Stock bottom end

MS3 on 113

Fast 90/90

1 3/4" Headers/ 3" Exhaust

3800 Stall

4.11 Gears

Anyone? Looking to place an order within a few days, hoping to get some pointers from people who have actually ran these.

You are probably not getting the responses because this is where the external talk goes on. I rarely see these people in the Internal section.

Depends on what your wanting to achieve dynamic/static compression-wise. Stages are refering to your valve size. I would probably stick with a stock sized valve, but others will tell you that it is a restriction I am sure of it. Honestly if I had to pick between the 2 it would be the LS6 hands down. They will both lay down the power, just depends on what you plan on having the car do really.

Moving to Internal for further feedback.

You can't go wrong with the 5.3L heads. They give a bump in compression, which will definitely make that camshaft drive and perform as intended! Also, they have a slightly smaller intake runner, so you don't have to turn big RPM to make good power.

Give me a call or shoot me a PM if I can help with anything on your combo!
