At idle, I have a defined tick going on that gets faster when you rev but doesnt get louder. I feel no power loss and nothing negative, yet the noise makes me wonder what it could be... Any ideas? Should I switch to a different oil or anything like that?

Thats what I was getting ready to say. I had the same problem. I thought it was something in the valvetrane but was a exhaust leak.
