I would go with something around the 3000 range.

Street car I would say the 3200. Race car I would lean more for the 3600.

I'm saving money up now to do the 500 hp package...but....think i'm gonna do fast 90 intake, injectors and fuel pump to play it safe. My only worries are stock rear-end and clutch. lol My baby just turned 39k...but still worry cuz I've heard stories about the 10 bolts. lol Any who...my buddy has the 515 package and says it's worth every penny!

If anyone has questions in regards to a TFS headed combo please feel free to PM/email/Call me. I will be more than happy to help you out. We have quite a few more options such as ARP Head Bolts/Studs/ Milling the cylinder heads/.650 lift springs/camshaft selection etc etc.

You cant go wrong with a TrickFlow head!!!!

Summit offers the 485, 500, and 515 hp packages for 3.1k. Heads come assembled I believe with hardened chromemoly pushrods, heads come with harland sharp roller rocker arms, and not sure about bolts...possibly ARP. This is a sweet package!

the bolts are factory head bolts from what it looks like in the pictures that summit has of the kit.

I bought the TF 515 top end kit two weeks ago. I also bought the new FAST 92mm intake and 92mm throttle body. I already have slp lid, 160 thrmo, 50lb injectors, Granatelli MAF, Edlebrock shorty headers, 3 inch custom exhaust, x pipe, no cats. I should be posting dyno numbers soon for you all.

Hi I got the 515hp package for my 2001 vette vert. I got the 228/230 cam and I also got an ASP underdrive pulley, LG Street headers with cats and a Z06 TI exhaust. I used the stock intake and throttle body. When I had the car dyno'd I got 390RWHP Does this seem a little low to you? How much can I mill these heads and how much would that help? Thanks in advance.

Frank

Almost forgot this is on a automatic car by the way.

Dyno numbers? And yes, I think 390 does sound way low for that package.

You have 3 things woriking against you. The stock intake, TB and the automatic. I would look into the FAST 90 ot LS6 manifold, a larger TB. What size torque converter are you using?

I do have the LS6 intake with stock throttle body and I still have the stock torque converter as well. Just seems like the numbers are a little low for what I do have. A fast 90/90 is in the near future as well as a 2800 torque converter. Have to save some money again after all I've spent so far
