Default Trick Flow Top End Kit

I was wondering if anybody is running the 485hp package? How do you like it, and would you go with it again if you had to do it over ?

Just search Trickflow packages and it will give you a bunch of threads to read. There are a few people who run them but most get heads with a Vengeance racing Cam. I hear that the packages are pretty good though. Just depends on how hot of a cam you want.

Im running the trick flow stg 3 cam but, I ran out of money so I couldnt buy the heads, so I ended up using the patriot stg 2 heads. I personally like all of the trick flow products. Just my 2cents.

that stock 10bolt rear isn't gonna like you if you take it too the track, not sure what you have though, (camaro, vette, gto) you don't have a signature at all. I've been thinking about these heads as well, problem is my money is tight at the moment. The TFS heads look promising though.

i am getting the 515hp package pretty soon. the only bad thing that i have heard is that you have to run aftermarket rockers. which is not a problem with package b/c it comes with h/s rockers.

all in all , the H/C packages seem to be priced half decent. it's ashame I don't need a cam, this would be a pretty much a no brainer decision. As long as you don't want a cam bigger than a 228 the 515hp you mentioned, this is a pretty tempting buy.

You can still get everything needed. Just have the dealer remove the cam from the package.

these heads offer better piston to valve clearance even with the valves being 2.04/1.57 correct? or am I wrong? I know I ultimately would have to check the clearance myself but would kinda like a heads up before hand. Cam is in signature, even though LG doesn't give out specs, so I guess that almost does no good.LOL!!!

Are you Andy Trupe? The only reason I ask is you now have a signature and you have the same exact cars that a kid I know had. Well at least the years, don't know what color your cars were.

You are correct, they do offer better piston to valve clearance. Without knowing the specs on the cam I will always tell you to check your clearances.
