Well, after countless cam installs and who knows how many hours of work, I finally finished up the F-body version of the cam and valvespring swap writeup.
The goods are right here:
http://www.ls1howto.com/index.php?article=23
It has a FAQ, cam basics, and photos and text of everything you've gotta do to install a cam. If some of you experienced guys have done a few of these and think there is something I should add, email or MSG me and let me know!
And hopefully I can finally get some sleep!

Looks excellent! The only thing I would add is that the a/c condensor can be bungee corded to the hood latch during the r&r of the cam, for us guys that work entirely alone....

There are a couple of other things that I think should be added as well: get one of the extra strong 8 mm impact sockets for taking out the rocker bolts; many people break several normal sockets in doing so. Be sure to clean the threads with solvent on any bolt that you use locktite on, otherwise the locktite is useless. You can use carb cleaner or acetone to do this. Stuff a rag in the front of the oil pan before you take out the oil pump pickup tube bolt so you don't drop it in the pan. This is very easy to do.

Thanks guys!
Cal, I've used the bungee method many times before and it is fine. I didn't put them in this document because I figured most people will have a helper, but I may add it back in. I beleive I mention it in some of my other writeups. If you can take some pics of the tool I'd love it. I know exactly what you mean about grinding it, but I unfortunatly do not have one handy that I can take a photo of at the moment. I'd put the picture into the install if you could get me it. Thanks!

That right up is the best. I plan on doing another cam swap this winter and I'll use your guide if I run into a snag.
Are you ever going to do a LS1 Edit Tuning article? I've been learning it from an ex GM tech and so far, it seems pretty easy. Just the basic would be nice explain what table does what...
