Cool The strength of daily-driven stock internals ANSWER :)

I have a fairly heavily modified LS1.

Ported LS6 Heads
MS4 Cam
85/85/90/90 LID/MAF/TB/INTAKE
Kooks 1 7/8" stepped to 2"
and all the other upgraded bolt-ons . . . yada, yada.
All tuning was done with LS1Edit and EFILive by me only. To this day I've tuned without a wideband (I really need one though so I can put the RR to use . . . had it for over a year now )

I'll be hitting 70,000 miles of H/C/Intake/Exhaust in the next month or two.

The first half of that 70,000 miles had an MS3 cam and the factory LS6 intake with a stage 2 ported TB and Kooks 1 7/8" LT's; also with stock rod bolts

So I'm running close to 70K mi strong, daily-driven, and beat on every day I won't be able to give a report at 100,000 miles because I change my set-up too frequently . . . I'll most likely have a 440 cube motor long before that mileage.

The car performs extremely well. I absolutely ***-rape my buddies 2007 Gallardo Spyder every week on the highway on motor

Next time my buddy and I roll out we'll video tape a 75-190 mph run

I'll also post a video of the idle and part-throttle driveability; beneath 100* F it sucks. Above 104* F it drives perfect

How much rwhp do you think your pushing? And what could/should we upgrade for safety with the internals if we're pushing 480-500rwhp and don't want a blown engine?

an immediate upgrade necessity is a better oil pump. A cooler thermostat is usually one of the first mods.

Good rod bolts; no need to risk an engine when they are a cheap upgrade.

Next in line would be a water pump and radiator.

When I pulled my old motor out it was making 415/414 with 120K on it. Never skipped a beat and wasn't burning any noticeable amount of oil.
