IMO 114LSA for a DD. I suggest doing more research before you buy one though.

LSA alone does not determine idle quality, Idle quality is determined by valve overlap, which is a function of LSA and lobe duration.

For a daily driver I suggest (personal preference) a cam with no more than ten degrees of overlap @ .050 lobe lift. That will give a good lope but remain driveable.

Overlap will also play a major role in powerband.

Dont buy into the LSA alone stuff that you will hear around here.

I don't mind the lack of bottom end for a daily driver, I run it with 3.42's on a 112 LSA

but when it's time to get on it, it's always there and I've got no regrets running it

I agree. Based on your questions - you need to do a lot more research and deciding what you want before you buy anything. Spend the time now to do it right.

Good luck with the mods - they are addicting.

I am in the same boat. I bought a set of new 918's and was going to run the torq. v2 but TSP even said that the 918's are okay short term but not for long term so if i'm going to buy the prc's i'm just going with a MS3 cam.

Just buy the whole cam kit from TSP you will need to use the PRC dual springs (they are part of the kit) ...the 918s have had some problems from time to time...I ran that cam with the PRC dual springs for 43,000 miles with no problems...you cannot run that large of a cam without going to after market springs.
