That is a big cam. I've heard of people running bigger on stock setups without issues but I probably would have tested just in case. There are variances in motors (especially mass produced motors) and it very well could be that what works on one motor won't work on another. Glad it worked out for you....makes me feel safer about my setup, which I didn't check that well(228/230 .571/.573 112).

LOL, guess you should buy a lottery ticket now! 236* intake lobe on a 106* ICL is leaves you with no margin for error.

you'll be needing new pistons if it hits as well, you prepared for that too? good luck w/ the motor.

Eh when the builder did my 01 Z06 H/C the valves hit the pistons and just bent the valves and that was cranking it over. Mine didnt hit spinning it by hand so i figure mine will just kiss the valves because of valve float. I'll be flycutting when i put the heads on, im just doing one thing at a time her. I just need this to go through inspection and be movable i doubt ill dyno or race it on stock heads.
