LS6 parts on an LQ4 408?

I am thinking of putting a LQ4 Iron block in my 02 Z06. I was going to go with a LS2 block but I would have to spend another $315 on a conversion kit to run it along with the extra $300 or so for the block. So my question is, will my LS6 parts, i.e. timing chain, front/rear cover, valley pan cover, knock sensors go onto the iron block. Also, does the LQ4 block use all short head bolts like the LS2 and late LS6 blocks. Any knowlege on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

everything will bolt up on that block with the exception (im not fimiliar with vette acc drive) where the alternator bracket goes on the lower driverside on f-body there are two bolt holds missing, there is a boss to drill and tap for one of them. i think the head bolts will depend on the year modle of the block. not sure if some of the earlier ones were diff but mine('05 Lq4) had all short bolts

The LQ4's use the 3 different lenght head bolts ( long, med, short), valley cover, frt & rear cover, chain & knock sensors will all fit.. You can buy the GM head bolt kit part# 12498545 that includes all bolts for one head, need 2 of them.. You could run a nice stage 2.5 or 3 LS6 head along with a good matching cam & have yourself a nice lil setup.

I have a stroked 05 LS6 block in there right now (383) that is making 490/445 with PRC 2.5 LS6's and cam so the 408 should be a nice step up in tq. I have ARP head bolts that are the short version that I want to reuse. I will make sure I get an 05 up LQ9 block from my dealer. I am trying my best to keep this thing on a budget. I am just going to re-use my rotating assembly save for the pistons and roll from there. I think the extra tq I will make will compensate for the extra 70 or so extra pounds of the block. Plus I think it will seal better and be better for the FI I plan to add on later. I just really hate to add 70 pounds to the front of a Z06. I guess the rear mount turbos will have to equal out the weight. Thanks for the info guys.
