ok im putting my motor back together does anyone have an idea where this goes??

 

Windage tray. Bolts below the main caps on the main studs.

 

does it need a certain nut to bolt up???

 

Needs 8 of them to be exact.

If you don't know what that is, you better find somebody to put your motor together. Holy crap.

 

I agree about if you dont know what that is you shouldnt be putting your motor together. Since you've already started though I suggest you stop for a while and read a few books and/or search the internet. Building an engine is meant to be percise and detailed....not just bolting parts together

 

Get a Factory Service Manual (FSM)..!
