Default lq4 build

what would you guys recommend i have a lq4 that i took out of a pick/up with some piston slap. it only had about 80k i want to put it in a 67 camaro im going to start building. im going the carb route, what could be done for piston slap and what performance parts would u suggest im looking for hp range of about 500-550??? any ideas thanks in advance

get some 59cc heads, 230s duration cam, vic jr intake, headers, carb style tb, and tune. you'd be well over 500 hp.

piston slap can't helped unless you replace the pistons with ones that have longer skirts.

Can you have the heads milled to get it close to that.?

i wouldn't. simply because milling a head from 72cc down to 59cc seems like an invitation for problems.
