But then again I am sure that the course you are racing on and the one's I've been on are quite different so. With that said I believe that the v2 is a great all around cam, and you will be satisfied with which ever one you go with. I got my cam on the spur of the moment, and honestly I was looking at smaller cams like the tr224 or 224/224 from TSP. I am very happy with the one I went with, so back to the question: I would go with the v2 over the 224 or 228 that I had been looking at if I knew then what I know now, and was looking at buying new and all that jazz.
VIR, Road Atlanta, CMP, Roebling Road, Summit Point.

the V2 would be a great cam. I was looking at a LG X3 and have driven many but found my 224 to be quicker out of corners then bigger cams Then again I am max out at 6500 too, 6750 red line.

Myself I am looking at a slightly different cam for when the AFR205s go on. 224/228 or the V2 are both strong options.

Sounds like you have a lot of the same plans as I do!
