Ported Maf

anyone ever cut the metal peice out of the middle of there stock mass air flow sensor?

Ported mafs are not accurate. Ive seen this first hand. A dyno opperator convinced me to try a stock one in place of my ported one. The stocker made 8hp over the gutted one.

even if you did do it, it would only make a small difference until the computer learns

yeah thanks for the input and all, but really i just wanted to know if anyone had cut that thing out of there and if it messed anything up
