I just put the ms4 in 2 days ago and the install was flawless, but I'm having a hell of a time to get it to idle. Yes I know i need a tune but is there anything temporary to keep the beast idled? I have tried adjusting the idler screw but that doesnt seem to be enough, it just surges too much and dies, also once i finally get it to idle as soon as i blip the throttle just a tad she dies again.
Mine did the same thing. Just pull the TB off and drill that hole out to 3/16ths it needs more air to stay running un tuned.

last time i checked. it kinda pisses off tuners when you do that. but could be just some tuners.

Yea i was wondering about that but I have heard many people say not to drill that out, why is that? whats the downfall to drilling it out? and after u did that what did ur car idle at rpm wise?

the more supporting mods you have the more this cam is going to give ya. get a good set of heads, headers, gears, stall and catback and have some fun. and spend the extra $$$ on a good tune. I'm still trying to figure out who i want to tune my ms4. I plain on spending as much as it takes to make it right.

My 2 cents... Intake and full exhaust with the MS4 = ridiculous power gains (60 plus). Stick with a 3600 to 4400 stall to keep street manners and driveability...and with that big a stall, you don't need 4. plus gears. 3.73's will wake up incredibly on the high side of 4000 rpm. That is unless you want to be pushing 2800 rpm's at 60mph cruisin down the highway. I'm not running that healthy a cam and R6's lose their lunch money from a 40 roll.
