Went with the Ls6, not because I thought it was better, but cheaper and good enough.

^ Melling is the best pump, between those other pumps ls6 pump is just fine. But if I really had to choose a pump it would be melling hands down.

I think the SLP pumps are melling pumps . Do a search on this board and I think there were several threads about this . I went with the SLP pump and my car idles with 65 lbs of oil pressure , so no complaints here !

Thats not what I heard, I heard slp pumps are ls6 pumps that have been ported. I thought melling casted their own.

I got an LPE (Lingefelter) pump from Ebay, was like $100 shipped or something. outflows the LS6 pump by 30% and comes with a the high pressure spring. LS1/LS6/LS2 are all the same pump from what i understand.

Melling pump flows 18% over stock

The LPE one i have probably flows too much. Go with the melling. I have a remote mount filter and 7qt pan.
