Hello -

I've installed an autometer oil pressure gauge and used the sending unit that came with it. I installed the autometer sending unit into the stock location using an adapter. However, when I hook up the gauge(ground, +12v, etc) it reads 100psi, even before I turn on the engine too. I am just testing it out and wondering if any else has had this problem or has a solution. The stock oil pressure gauge was working too, reading about 60 psi before I put this one in.

Dumb question but you never really specified, did you actually start the car or just turn it over?

I did actually start the car. Before I started it, it was at 100psi and after it still read 100psi
