I recieved a bunch of free parts off of a 9,000 original mile '01 SS today and one of the things I recieved was this camshaft. It was in the plastic in an SLP box with part # SLP51013. Im just curious if this is really that cam or if it is stock, I have no idea what the stock LS1 camshafts look like. Cam reads:

idk..but i would guess that whoever you got it from put the stock one in that box after they installed the slp cam

I dunno but i thought a s16 was a speedinc. cam. Somebody edumacate me. I'm in the NC backwoods??????

yea I see that s16 cam on their website maybe its that cam, anybody else?

no thats not an SI6 cam, looks like a stock LS1 cam to me
