don't tsp's 5.3's still get good results under the curve? I mean thats what iv seen on alot of threads thats why I picked them over the LS6 and the TSP heads are inbetween TEA's 2-3 heads.. and for the price you cant go wrong

The 5.3's work good because they raise SCR (hence DCR) which helps with lowend when running a bigger cam that bleeds off compression. The AFR's work GREAT because they flow at 205cc intake runner size what the ported 5.3s flow @220cc. The greater velocity atomizes fuel better and creates better efficiency and lowend torque. They also have better PTV than stock castings.

I'm a believer in the AFR 205s + 224/228 cam + adding all the right parts..see sig.

The GTO suffers from a bit more parasitic drivetrain loss then the f-bodys so our rwhp is a little lower but I have yet to see any LS1 NA A4 GTO produce higher rwhp numbers then mine. I've also only see 5 others better my ET. This combo proves itself time after time.
