Yes it is through a 10-bolt.....and yes they are stock heads.....

Like Darren said, I have known Mikey for a while....and I know what the cam is....but if i disclose the information i will be

I was "that guy too" lets shove a Trex or MS4 in there right....There is nothing wrong with those cams....it just wasnt for me....My car will never see the track I just wanted a fun street car with a nice lope and i didnt want to have to spin the motor over 7K....I got what i wanted.

The cam is great...im gonna go drive it right now....BUT...its not just the cam its the tune. From what i have read....and now experienced...from the first dyno pull to the last....its not just the cam....its the guy doing the tuning...Mikey knows what he is doing....

Sounds nice. I wonder why he would not answer multiple voicemails and emails I've left him.

I wouldn't mind taking my car up there for work if he answered the phone.

Yeah there is something wrong with those cams, you wouldn't have made that number with one of them!

Good deal, nice numbers your up there with a couple that I have seen legitimately put down those type of numbers.

thanks for the compliments ladies/gents

I took it for a ride tonight and it runs/sounds great. Was in stop and go traffic and sitting at red lights. I tried different things, stop fast, stop slow, driving at different gears/rpms, clutch in soon/late coming to a stop to see how it would act. And it idles perfectly. It is very easy to drive on the street which is exactly what I wanted. I am sure alot of that is in the tune. I had to just roll into the throttle or else it just spins, but it pulls great. The cam project has come full cirlce and it was money well spent. Now if we can just get some damn T-Top weather.....

Its great that you made numbers like that.

But it really doesn't help anyone out if you dont tell the specs of the cam. I mean that is what i use this site for. I look at what other people have done and has worked and then try to figure out what would work best for me.

I understand where you are coming from, BUT you have to understand guys like Mikey at Rapid spend lots of time, money, and research to put together cams/motors/packages that make great numbers. If I go broadcasting that all over the net Ill have him at my front door.... I've known Mikey since '01, I'm a man of my word, I don't roll like that....period

Im not try to be a *****, and not help fellow LS1 owners, just stating that if you want a specific package for what you want to do with your car, Mikey at Rapid is who you want to talk to.

This argument will go no where, believe me I know.

Try to talk to Mike at Rapid and get more info, perhaps he can share more graphs with you from other setups with same cam and you can see what the curves look like at various rpms.

The TR230/224 is a great cam, look at the OP mods,
Lid...Kooks LT...Kooks ORY...LM w/Borla XR1...4:10s...Stock Heads...Stock Intake...Stock P/P TB...Stock Maf/Descreened

These are all worth power, also it is a 2002 with LS6 intake so with a good tuner and the same mods, you'll be in the same ballpark.
If you want my 2 cents, retard the TR230 2*, it will pull better for a M6

Sadly, the cam that i have 226/228 .586/.588 114+4 and mods in sig, i only pulled 370rwhp and like 370tq. BUT i had a clutch that was trashed. And, i had a flowmaster chopped up exhaust kit (cat back). Not to mention i just found out that i had a massive exhaust leak on my passanger side which caused my B2S1 o2 to pop (caused surging, rough idle, horrible gas milage, bad performance.)So, i just fixed all the issues but i cant find out what numbers are because of the new clutch that just went in it. SO, i was wondering what you guys think i could be pulling now. I now have pacesetter LT's, and a magnaflow cat back. LS7 Clutch, and new msd wires. Since the last dyno. Im thinking around 390ish?
