Default Looking at buying a custom cam from a friend..

It's a custom he had ground but found a GX5 i believe at a killer price.

It's a 210/230 .550/.559 115LSA

I can have it for 150 and i'm wondering how would this cam perform?

That sounds like a turbo cam.

It's actually very close to LS7 specs, lift's are slightly different and little less LSA. That peak at 6000-6100, fairly stealthy idle, and decent under the curve torque.

LS7- 210/230 0.559/0.556 120.5

Your going to get a bunch of people to tell you to get something else. If your budget bound it's hard to beat the price.

I'm actually really looking for a great stealth cam to go along with my LS2 heads. Something that will make 400rwhp and be undetectable

Those numbers are possible but not with those lifts, unless you put a set of Crane rockers on, then yeah it is possible with bolt ons.

Pred,

Mind making a guess on the numbers the car would put down with that setup along with edelbrock shorties and a bassani O/R Y? 380/390?

I'd be happy with 380rwhp

No way that much with those mods, more like 350>360
This is just a guesstimate.
Should get at least 20 rwhp from cam, shorties 5+, catback 5>10
