CNC ported heads... is that a brand...is that how they port the heads... what does that mean? and bout how much power can someone expect to gain out of working 5.3 truck heads???

Are these heads straight off a truck or have they been ported?

 

im getting head of a truck and the intake, ive been told get more power from the 5.3 truck intake plenum...???

I would look into getting them ported if they are just stock 5.3's. What intake are you talking about? The truck intake? Do you have an LS1 or something else?

 

yeah i have a 1998 ls1 and i was going to get some head work done to the heads and use the intake from the 5.3 truck engine also. should i have the intake ported and polished also. or just use it as it is??
