Default Best heads and cam package?

What is the best heads and cam setup for a 383 stroker spraying 150 shot of nitrous around $3000 budget?

This is a very vague question, but for $3K you could get a set of after market castings (AFR, TFS, ETP) and a custom ground cam and pushrods. Could reuse the stock rockers. Thats what i would do.

There are a lot of people like me very pleased with the Futral 239/243 cam for a 383. As for heads you need to up your budget about another 1000 dollars to get a good set of heads with the cam.

ETP, TFS or AFR are all a good choice. I'd pick the heads first and then have a custom cam built.

Good luck with the new motor.

Those should get the job done nicely with a big cam and LS7 intake (which is cheaper then a fast 92). I decided to stay stock cubes so I can't use them and thus need to sell them.

These heads retail for $3,200 + but I'm selling this set of ETP LS7 4.0 bore heads for $2,800 plus free shipping. Let me know if you are interested.

Good luck on your new motor!
A 383 stroker cannot use a 4.00 bore head. There will be valve interference with the wall.
