Default Comp 915 vs 918

Whats the difference between the Comp 915's and the 918's? The cam I am going to use has a lift of .563" and RPM's will probably not go above 6500 and was wondering which would be a better choice.

The 918s are a stiffer spring, and handle up to .600 lift. You could probably get away with either, but for the small price difference, why not go with the stronger 918's. Theyre tried and true.

Tried and true my ***. I just went up to the dealership, my car has been up there all day. They have been trying to figure out why my car has been running so wierd. I broke a 918 spring after just 6000 miles.

Go with either the PAC 1218 or the 1518. Same type of spring but much better quality.

Well, they did have that bad batch last year... Probably should have mentioned that. However prior to that, and past that, people have been running them for years without problems.

That's because they were PACs.

Hey Fraser, those PAC1518's, can I use the same locks and retainers from a normal set of 918s on them?
