Default Whats next step?

Ok Im not sure what should be next, I have TEA stage 1.5 5.3 heads, 222/222 581 114+2 cam and your bolt ons.

-If I switch cam it would probably be a 228/230.

-ported fast 90/90mm tb?

-swap heads?

So theres also install costs, but id also be able to sell the parts im replacing.
Whats the best route to go?

It would help if you would list your mods. Hard to suggest things when we don't know what converter your running.

for that cam, the heads are a good choice.

a bigger cam would give you more power, but so would a ported FAST.

you should be able to do the intake yourself. so i say go for that.

but if price is the issue...the cam should be the cheapest

Why not go with a bigger cam than the 228/230? The FAST is another good addition. Going to a slightly bigger cam or changing to a different head is splitting hairs. you probably wont see too drastic an improvement for the cost and effort.

I talked with Mike @ TEA before, and with their 5.3l heads the most you can go is 228 or ya have to flycut the pistons. SO 228/230....228/232 would have to be something like that.

If the FAST isnt too hard to install I could probabaly do it. I woudlnt be able to do the other ones though.
