Default Are there any write ups to pull an LS1

I am going to be pulling my motor tomorrow. I've got a 99 TA. I searched and found nothing about pulling the motor. Are there any write ups regarding this? My plan is to pull the heads and trans off prior to pulling it out. What accessories and other things should I pull out? Also, where should I bolt the chain to without damaging anything? Any help/suggestions would be great. Thanks!

do it out of the bottom... you have to unhook pretty much the same things for the top but you don't have to jack with hood, radiator, compressor, transmission, exhauast......so easier.....we pulled one out of my uncs 96,,,,just pulled mine out last weekend.... just have to get the jack stands high and safe....you onle have to take one brake line off the abs.... i have several pics but not sure how to post so if you tell me i would be more than happy to post a few....

I'd much rather pull it from the top. Once it's out I'm going to have to have my car towed to my house for 2-4 weeks while my motor is being machined. I realize it's easier if you have something to drop the kmember on to but we dont and we have very limited space
