Hellfire ring end gap?
I am getting ready toi assemble my new turbo shortblock and was wondering if anyone had any special proven end gaps for the top and second rings on a motor which will likely see around 850-1000rwhp and 19-26psi of boost. any help or suggestions are appreciated. from what I have read, the second ring gap is helpful to be twice the area of the top ring, not twice the gap but the exposed area between the piston and the cylinder wall, whatever this area is would be reflected by having a slightly larger gap of the second ring. great info but what would the gap of the top ring be for the best seal and function from your experience?
thanks!
