Getting ready to install my powerbond pulley & started wondering, is this thing going to rust if I leave it unpainted? Tried searching for info, but couldn't find anything. So question is, do you guys paint the pulley or leave as is. Thanks for your time.

It will rust, no questions asked. Mine sure did. Paint it if you desire, but make sure you mask off where it will actually come in contact with the crank snout.

Got plenty of rust on mine too. I dont mind, my stocker looked pretty rusted and it didnt affect anything. I do wonder if I should have painted it but I dont plan on taking it off just for that. Ill wait till something lets go.
