Default H/C headers now idle problem

I just finished installing the TSP228R 114LSA, LS7 lifters, and 7.350 pushrods, LS2 oil pump/ timing chain, Z06 243 heads, Cometic .040 head gasket, LS6 intake, KOOKS headers, in my LS1 99 FRC Vette. First startup Engine idled at 650 fine for over 40 mins while leak checking everything, so I shut it down to finish up with the rest of the little things and started it up again and it will not idle. Is this normal until I get it tuned? I haven't taken it out on the road yet.

O yea man, you gotta get it tuned bro, mine wouldn't even turn over and stay running. The tune will have the idle sitting at around 850-900 rpm and it will run nice and smooth. It needs for the throttle blade to be open more at idle.

I'm exactly where you are. 2000 FRC - last week heads,cam,intake,headers...
Idles but can't drive it unless you keep the rpms way up.

Ya, I can't even get it to stay at a constant 800rpm with the foot. It goes from 600 to 1500 almost nothing in between, very touchy. I'm hoping to get it tuned this weekend. Now I hear why people are putting the Z06Ti on the cars, Headers/hi-flow cats and flowmasters = bad drone

Mine wouldn't idle until I started tuning it and giving it some more air.
