Default MTI X1 or TR230

Im working on a friends z, was just wondering what you guys thought about these choices. Reason for these two and not a custom is springs are gonna be 918's. Info on car 4.10's, lt's, ls6 intake, pp tb, lid, ory, cutout, m6 stage 3 spec.

both are good proven cams. i just got the X1 installed bout a month ago on my auto and i made 395 rwhp stock heads without a pulley!! everybody i know that has ran the X1 and TR230 all loved them. no regrets for a street car. both should produce close to the same numbers. i heard the TR230 is better if your sticking with stock heads and i hear the X1 is better if u do decide to run heads.

I hope to find out how the X1 is myself. Im putting a 6.0 liter in my car this weekend with the X1 and 243 heads. You can't go wrong with either cam .

I daily drove my x1 cam for nearly 4 years, cam only for over half of that. Its a great compromise if you want pretty good power, reliability and drive-ability. Power wise, the 2 cams should be very close.

Tr230 will have more under the curve power and the X1 will have more power up top. Both great cams.

im leaning towards the x1, i love the cam that predator specd for chris only problem with that cam is the lsk intake lobe pushes it slighter over .600 lift mark, cam specs were 230/230 111+2 lsk/xe-r lobes.
