Just did a cam swap in my 02 camaro. I just went and retrieved the codes. I have a random misfire, normal I know, and theres a map sensor code. Is this norm until I get it tuned.

 

Heres the code ( MAP/BARO CKT range/perf.) Could this affect my car during the dyno tune if it's not normal?

 

I'm thinking this is normal too because of the reduced vacuum. How big of a cam was it you put in?

 

It was the TSP Touquer V2 232/234 595/598 112LSA

 

Lol, i am having the same problem with the map sensor and random misfire, on cyl 1 the plugs covered in fuel, but gets spark to plug wire & coil. I was unaware that it was a norm symptom after a head/cam swap, so i bitched out the shop that did the h/c swap for 2 hrs on the phone tonight saying how they did something wrong.. My bad!!

 

well i now know what my problem was, the map sensor was non-exsistant on my car... i guess that would make it run like ****? Yeah... i know one thing, i will never waste my money going to the shop i had my car at.
