oil problem still help!!!
oil problem still help!!! tell u quickly what i got speed inc 370,317heads worked,ls6,gt-7cam,and sts turbo system with intercooler.
well last year i got everything up and running only drove the car maybe 3 times and everything was fine.then one night oil pressure started to drop to around 19 to 20 psi so i put her away till now.
this past weekend i changed the oil to a thicker oil,no metal shavings in the oil, ive also changed out the sending unit.
Now on start it up i get 37 to 40 psi until i take her out and put stress on the motor then the pressure drops again to around 19 to 20psi around 800 rpms,when i get on it the pressure will only get to like 45psi.
i know i didnt pinch the oring put in when new motor went in (had pan off made it easy) i have a ported ls6 pump from texas-speed.
what could it be?
