Default What to do with a dead engine?

so i have a LS1 with mild crankshaft journal damage and mild rod end damage and four of the rods are in backwards, with a good condition everything else....what should i do with the engine? part it out? sell it? any guesses on how much i could get?

Whats damaged on the crank, is it the journals?

You can send it to my house jaja. Get someone to see whats the damage and after that if the block's well you could try using it on another engine or selling the good parts.

The damage you're describing is not that bad. I'm sure you could take it to any reputable machine shop and they'd be able to point you in the right direction.

I've seen my machinist do the impossible with some of the motors that have come through his shop.
