Default blown motor need suggestions

ok so i think its a rod bearing but not exactly sure. im pulling the motor out of my 01 ws6 this weekend and i would like some suggestions. Some people have been telling me to get a new short block and others just say get a new rotating assembly. eagle sells rotating assemblies for $2800 and i would have my choice of size and compression ratio. im going to use the stock heads for now but probably go with a big cam. Any opinions would be appreciated
Thanks Brandon

If you are going to put the motor together yourself go with a stroker rotating assemble. Should build it while your in there. If not just buy a new short block it would cost you the same to have a shop put it together.

Are you running naturally aspirated? If not, now is the time to build it the way you want.

If you're N/A, then I'd just purchase a short block with a warranty and be done with it.
