flycutting

Trex and MS4 are not needed, even though I've seen some pistons that had valve marks, if your engine is out of the car and disassembled do it just for insurance. I personally had a trex put with stock shortblock and never left a mark ok the pistons, after bout a few months I bought some wiseco with valve relief pistons.
Get a junk head and flycutting tools, they're pretty cheap and will save you some worries.
