I have the C2 cam, no issues at all, my car pulled 430rwhp and 407rwtq thru the stock catback. I debated between the same cams. You really can't go wrong with your choices. My car is a daily driver and a lot of fun to drive.

My T/A is a weekend car but I have used it as a daily driver without problem on several occasions. Car is docile enough with the C2 and 4.10 gears that in many ways it's easier to drive. Only time is ~5mph or less in a parking lot I might tap the clutch occassionly if the car surges due to low speed. My car would also do this if I went slow enough with the stock cam but the C2 is a hair more sensitive too it. Also with any of these high lift cams ie .550+ I like to let the car warm up a little before driving. I always even when stock kept the rpm under 2000 until the car warmed up. In fact the C2 is tame enough with tuning sometimes I wonder if a 226/226 or 227/227 XER would have been better.

Don't go to small, you will change the cam again.

C1 vs C2, maybe a tad but your only talking about 2 degrees of duration and the C2 has faster ramps. I don't think there'd be all that much difference. Raughammer had both he'd be able to explain the nuances better than anyone else. Think about a custom 224/224 XE-R on a 114 LSA?

Good tuning can have a bigger impact than say 2 degrees of duration will.
