White white smoke or bluish smoke?? If its oil smoke I can't help but think maybe if you had rings done, the rings didnt seat properly and that smoke is blowback

You should probably do a leak down test to see if the rings are good.

The LS6 PCV conversion doesn't stop them from sucking oil into the intake.

But I agree that a leak down test is in order. If you're building crankcase pressure and blowing the dip stick out it's probably time for some new internals or short/long block.

Did you check your rocker wipe when assembled?

A wide wipe off-center pattern coupled with high valve spring forces (especially the 8019's) will result in worn valve guides (which are bronze) and you have plenty of miles for that to have happened. To check, pull a couple of valve springs and try wigging the valves back and forth from the intake manifold towards the exhaust manifold.
