help????sound under hood?

I just got my headers, cam, pushrods and springs installed. I also got new good year gator back belts.When the car has been driven for a while (15 min) the belt or something around the belts make a noise.(weeee..weeee..weeee..weeee)But it goes away when you turn the car off then turn it back on. Could it be these are bad belts? Or could it be the waterpump. It also happens when I drive the car hard.

Do you have EGR/AIR systems on the car?

Yes, It has the stock egr..stuff still on it. Could this be where the sound is comming from??

That's where I'd put my money. Took me weeks to figure that noise out! If it sounds like a high-pitched little "fan", that's more than likely it.

you can always pull your AIR fuses and then start the car and see if it's still there... just an idea?!?! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
