Degree a TREX?
Sorry for my ignorant question, but Im putting together a 347 Trex LS1, running the stock crank polished, with compstar 6.125 rods, mahle forged pistons with-4cc, with the V2 TREX and with stock 98 HEADS rebuilt with 3angle valve job ported and polished, on top of it will be a fast90-90.
My question is putting it together I bought the compcams timingchain set, there are quite a few knotches for the cam to be set on. Which one is the one I need? Set it at TDC? Or does it need to be advanced?
Second question I have is the pistons from mahle I assumed the oil rings came cut for the piston since they were in with them. Is that not the case or do they need to be cut? Because they are SEVERLY TIGHT trying to make it fit.
