After 45+ years of hot rodding which includes holding NHRA national class records I feel pretty confident in my knowledge of valve springs and their application.

no, he is right. you are wrong. when a single spring breaks, it goes everywhere, and drops the valve, when a dual spring breaks, it has another spring there to minimize the chances of the valve dropping into the cylinder.

OK "Bro" I guess we will agree to disagree...but to me the main issue is not tearing up my motors and I have managed to do a very good job doing that over the years..from street rods, to gassers, to super stock hemi cars, to top alcohol dragsters, and my current hot rod all ran dual springs and none have never droped a valve...I love that little spring that lives inside the big spring ...... I'm out...peace "bro".

It would only be PAC OR PSI
