Default p0101 code ???

I got P0101 code: maf or vaf a ckt range/perf.

anyone had this code ? Did it fix the problem by replacing the maf sensor ?

My car only has 22,000 miles seems premature for the maf to go out.

The first thing I would do is check the sensor fuse. If it's not the fuse, then inspect and clean the MAF elements. Also check to make sure it's plugged in properly and the wires are not damaged.

I cleaned the maf sensor twice with the maf sensor clear and that didn't solve the problem. I will check the fuse & check the wiring .

ok I checked the owner's manual on the fuse box . I can't find any fuse related to maf sensor fuse on the fuse box located on rt apron & below lt side dash. Where is this maf sensor located ? I checked the wiring behind the male connector it appears fine, I didn't unwrap the wiring electrical tape further back from connector & check it because there is no reason to. any replies ? 36 views and 1 reply, come on .

The fuse is located in the box in the engine compartment and it's labled "Sensor" or something to that effect.

OK, thanks for that info. I found the fuse it says engine sensor its 15 blue amp fuse & its ok. Now what ? I will be putting in the maf sensor tomorrow if this doesn't solve the problem, maf sensor is not returnable. Any ideas what other sensors can set of this code besides the maf sensor anyone????

If you have a cold air intake? Too much oil on the air filter will cause this code.

There is a Maximum Delta Airflow P0101 Error Table in the PCM that needs to be changed. I went through the same thing on a 04 GTO after a cam install. Multiply the whole table x4. That is if you can verify with a scanner that the MAF is indeed working.
