I too have been considering a set of their stage 2/2.5 LS6 heads for my new motor.

As far as the LS7 goes, mine didn't like high RPM (6800) shifting with my 384... Sure loved that damn stock like feel/ability to slip the clutch.

I have 30,000 miles on a LS7 clutch and it is holding up fine and has great street manners..I have heard they do not hold up well at the drag strip..but since I do not track my car anymore it works out well for me..

All of our Stg 1.5 and Stg 2 porting programs on those heads are 225cc’s on the intake side, but the LS6 is obviously a different port, and will make more power.

Tell me, which valves are you guys running? Stock? aftermarket? Also, are you using a 59cc chamber?
Our Stg 2 LS6 heads use the same Ferrea 2.04”/1.575” valves and valve job that we use in the TFS 215’s. The custom TFS 2.04” valve is the best flowing valve that can be put in a GM head on a 3.90” bore. The guys that run cams in the upper 230's on intake duration are running the chambers at 59cc, but does require a flycut piston, or aftermarket pistons.

I wanted to bring this one back to life....So from reading the stage 1 LS1's are 225cc?
Is this the case for are those size runners for other casting?
I've been looking at AFR 205's cause of the high flow and small runner but i thought
the TEA stage 1 or stage 1.5 would have similar runner size.

They did a great job on mine. I had mine on my car for 47k miles with no issue. I would definitely purchase another set.

Oh i know they have great heads, i just wanted to know the intake runner volume
on their stage 1 LS1 heads? A few lines up theres a mention about the s1.5's being
225cc...thats alittle big when there heads with 205cc or even smaller flowing the same or
a little better. I cant see a stage 1 LS1 241 casting w/stock valves being 225cc's? i'm missing something..lol.

Thanks..i just PM'd Brian and asked him my question, but i told him i would also
call him tomm. to find out more about his LS1 stage 1 heads. I can see what they flow on their web site but i they dont have the intake runner volume advertised. But thanks for your help. I would definately want his input cause i know how good TEA is Take care.

Damn i must say when i sold my WS6 i should have kept the heads
My old heads were 241 heads that JPR did a little work to and i only installed a old design Comp. 216/220 .525/.532 114lsa+2, FLP's, Borla and Vig.3600 and it ran consistand 11.82. 11.80's, then a ran a few 11.79@115.78 . And my WS6 was no light weight for sure. How the heck did those heads get me to go
that fast? Man i wish i kept then...****!!! I just hope if i get AFR's or TEA S1 LS1 heads and run a 218/224 cam, a Vig.3200-3600, AR headers, haven't picked
a catback yet, but man i hope if can meet or beat my WS6's times.
