LS6 Intake Gains please...

LS6 Intake Gains please... Not sure if this goes here or in External Engine.
Here's a rundown. full bolt-on car with MTI Stage 2+ Heads, X1 cam, Custom Tuning, Mac Headers, Ported TB, Stock Maf descreened, TR6 Plugs, ORY, with Custom Madman Exhaust, 4000 Vigi stall...and other things I'm certain.
The car has put down over 400rwhp with all this and STOCK LS1 Intake. What Kinda gains will I see putting an LS6 intake?

Re: LS6 Intake Gains please... Lower valley?? what are you talking about? the cover that covers the knock sensors? I have to replace one of those...kinda in a time crunch to do this....the parts will be here in 3hrs and just trying to figure out what I need to get it done.
Re: LS6 Intake Gains please... Had it all done at once on my car so I don't know what the LS6 is worth over the LS1 in rwhp. When flow testing the heads we found ~17cfm more with the LS6 intake over the LS1 intake with my ported heads. I would think the LS6 would be worth ~10-15rwhp with good tuning at least over the LS1 intake. Some have found ~20rwhp difference. With all the other stuff you've done, it'll be worth getting a better intake.

Re: LS6 Intake Gains please... I would say SEAT OF PANTS...20+...I just pulled a friends car HARD that I used to have trouble walking. The INTAKE WAS WORTH IT!!!!!!!

Re: LS6 Intake Gains please... Believe every car will respond differently to every type of mod (no matter heads, cam or intake). The LS6 intake IMO is a good bolt on.
My gains are not normal. I added the LS1 intake first of July this year.
Stock Intake: normally 12.8 at 106-108mph; Nitrous: 11.77 at 115mph both in the heat of summer
LS6 Intake: 12.59 at 112.5; nitrous 11.38 at 124mph again in the summer heat.
Again buy it.

One of my friends with a LS1 told me that I should wait for another intake that is coming out in October made by fast.
He says that it will add another 15 rwhp to the already LS6 intake. I think I am going to wait for that one.
But do you think that it will help my truck perform any better ?

Re: LS6 Intake Gains please... You can wait for the FAST intake if you want. But so far it has only been rumored to increase over the LS6. I myself want to see some confirmation of that once it somes out, before I spend my $$.
