Default valvetrain noise on new setup

Ok....backstory first. I just installed the t-rex cam, yella terra ultralights, comp cam r lifters, and patriot extreme valvesprings on my car. The valvetrain geometry is dead on...didn't need shims or anything. I also ported my oil pump and shimmed the spring. The first day that I did the build up I had installed 42lb injectors based off what ppl with the trex cam had told me.....ofcourse with the stock tune I was running retardedly rich. So much infact that it was washing my cylinders and my oil smelled of gas. I eventually had to swap my stock injectors back in until I can get the car tuned properly....anyway.....at idle my car has all the standard problems of a big cam car that is untuned.....my issue is that in sustained driving my valvetrain starts to knock severly. If I come back to an idle it will go away after about a minute and will stay gone unless I start driving without stopping. I am running mobil 1 10w30. I checked the oil....no gas so the viscosity is good now. My first question is this. How long does it take for oil to cycle through the lifters? Is there a possiblity that I still have crappy oil in the lifters? My oil pressure is 60 at startup, and then drops to 30ish after driving.....but take that at face value. The engine is in a 94 rx-7 so you have to take into account the frankenstein factor. That could be the mazda gauges that are notorious for false readings. I moved the oil pressure sending unit during the cam swap so I know the lines are good and there are no leaks. Hopefully you guys can help out. Thanks.
